You are responsible for bringing personal gear and equipment while communal equipment (tents, sleeping mattress, camping table, camping chair, food, cooking items, etc.) is provided. Below is a gear list of required, recommended and optional items to bring on your Kilimanjaro climb.

Guide companies will generally include group cooking equipment, tents, sleeping pads, and water filters. Check with your guide company ahead of time to be sure you understand what gear is provided. Travel Documents
